This Privacy Policy explains how Basharat Ali (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects and uses personal information through basharatbuilds.com (the “Site”). I am a freelance Kajabi and Podia expert based in Karachi, Pakistan, and I work with clients remotely.
What I collect
- Details you give me. When you request a free audit, join a reminder list, book a call or contact me, I collect what you enter, such as your first name, email address, website URL and any message you send.
- Booking details. Calls are booked through Calendly and held on Zoom. Those services collect the details you enter there (name, email, time zone, answers to booking questions) under their own privacy policies.
- Payment details. If you buy a paid service, such as the backend audit or a paid call, payment is handled by Stripe or PayPal. I do not see or store your full card number.
- Account access you share. If you hire me, you may give me access to your Kajabi, Podia, Squarespace, GoHighLevel or other accounts. I use that access only to do the work you asked for.
- Usage data. The Site and its host may collect basic technical data, such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location, through cookies and similar tools. See the Cookie Policy.
How I use it
- To send you the audit, reply to your message or hold the call you booked.
- To deliver and invoice the work you hire me for.
- To send occasional emails with Kajabi and Podia tips, but only if you ticked the box to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To keep the Site working, secure and improving.
I do not sell your personal information.
Who I share it with
I share information only with services that help me run my business, such as my website host Lovable, Calendly, Zoom, my email provider Google Workspace, and my payment provider. I may also share information if the law requires it.
Legal basis (EU and UK visitors)
I process your information because you asked me to (for example, to send your audit), to perform a contract with you, because you gave consent (for marketing emails), or for my legitimate interest in running and securing the Site.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry and audit details for up to 24 months after our last contact, and client records for as long as needed for tax and accounting. When you end a project, I stop using any account access you gave me, and I ask you to remove or change it.
International transfers
I am based in Pakistan and the tools I use may store data in other countries, including the United States. By using the Site, you understand your information may be processed outside your country.
Your rights
You can ask me to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you emails. Email basharat@hirebasharat.com and I will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The Site is not meant for anyone under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If I change this policy, I will update the effective date at the top of this page.
